New Delhi: The Supreme Court has given the green signal to the release of the controversial movie ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’.The President of SGPC, Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh to stop the release of ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’.
Various letters are written to the Prime Minister, Ministers and Chief Ministers of different states to stop the release as the movie hurts sentiments of Sikhs.
The film is going to be released on April 13.
