Chandigarh, 4 September(Wishav Warta): The leader of opposition and AAP MLA Sukhpal Khaira, APP leader Bhagwant Mann along with a large number of party workers today gave court arrest while demanding CBI inquiry in various corruption cases. They were protesting against the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh alleging that he had failed to fulfill the promises and prevent the corruption in the state. The AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira while talking to the press after his arrest in Chandigarh said that it is irony that in Ludhiana city centre scam the vigilance had given clean chit to CM Capt Amarinder Singh.
The vigilance is under the state government and how can it is expected to do probe independently. So all the corruption cases include city centre scam must be handed over to CBI for impartial probe. The CM has no moral right to rule the state unless he order CBI probe in all the corruption cases pending in the state.
