Chandigarh, 30 August(Wishav Warta): The Punjab government has asked the Union Home Ministry not to remove 85 companies of the Para military forces in the state till September 7. For this, DGP Punjab Suresh Arora has written a letter to Additional Chief Secretary Home Mandeep Sandhu. On the basis of this, Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has written a letter to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Punjab has argued before the Central to let the forces stay for another 10 days that after the punishment of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, 38 people died in Panchkula violence, 12 of them were from Mansa.
