• 464 people in 18 buses make move towards Lakhanpur in J&K
S. A. S. Nagar, May 4( Wishavwarta)- The drive to send back the stranded people from other states began today in SAS Nagar. A total of 464 people in 18 buses were sent back from Mohali, Kharar and Derabassi to Lakhanpur in J&K. This was disclosed by Mr. Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar.
“Through medical screening of the stranded people was done at Nayagaon before they boarded the buses back to their state” said Girish.
Pertinently, a total of 179 people were sent back in 8 buses from Mohali, while 93 people were sent back via 3 buses from Dera Bassi and 192 boarded 7 buses from Kharar.
Due care with regard to the observance of the social distancing guidelines was taken.
