Dera Cheif verdict: DGP says no one greater than law

Hissar, 21 August(Wishav Warta): The administration has made strict security arrangements for August 25 in the Panchkula’s court of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the ongoing sexual exploitation case against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. All appropriate measures are being taken for the safety of the people and alerts have been issued in sensitive areas. In fact, on 17th August, the trial of the Sadhvi-sexual harassment case against the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim was completed in the special CBI court. Ram Rahim, though, did not appear in the court referring to health issues. Now after this, the court has ordered him to appear in person on August 25. Earlier, the Dera chief had violated the court order twice. In this case, DGP Sandhu has said that even if the Dera chief did not appear in the court on August 25, the order of the court would be followed. At the same time, he also said there was no one greater than the law.
