New Delhi: Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who is on a hunger strike at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s office, was shifted to a hospital on Monday, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Twitter.
Sisodia was taken to LNJP Hospital after routine check-up and is under observation.
Earlier during the day, the Delhi high court asked the AAP government who had authorised the sit-in at the Lieutenant Governor’s office and observed that strikes or dharnas are held outside and not inside someone’s workplace or residence.
On Sunday, Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain was also hospitalised after his health deteriorated.
