Jalandhar,1 September(Wishav Warta): The Punjab government would provide full support to the World Kabbadi League, which is organized to encourage Kabaddi. This idea was exposed by Capt. Amarinder Singh before a delegation of the World Kabaddi League that was specially visited him. He assured that the third season World Kabaddi League is going to be held in October-November with the help of NRI’s government will provide full assistance to the league. He said that as hockey, football and other sports are given importance, but the initiative to promote mother game Kabaddi by NRI’s all over the world is laudable. He said that the efforts will be made to bring Mother Game Kabaddi to world level in the coming days. The delegation also gave an invitation letter to the Chief Minister to attend the final match in Mohali as chief guest. Chief minister accepted the invitation and assured his presence in the final match. The Chief Minister also issued instructions to the administration to assist the management to make this World Kabaddi League a success.
World Kabbadi League Director Talwinder Singh Hayer thanked him for support from Capt. Amarinder Singh. On this occasion, he said that America’s leading industrialist Surjeet Singh Tutt, Ranjit Singh Tutt and Sarabjit Singh Thiara have been the key contributors to the success of this World Kabaddi League, and this time they are also cooperating with enthusiasm.
