Army chief warns of two-front war with China, Pakistan

New Delhi, 7 September(Wishav Warta): Indian Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat has said the country should be prepared for a potential two-front war with China and Pakistan. General Rawat referred to a recent standoff with the Chinese that ended last week and said the situation could gradually snowball into a larger conflict that Pakistan could likely exploit.

He said India could not afford to be complacent and should be prepared for the possibility of an all-out war. “As far as our northern adversary is concerned, flexing of muscles has started,” Rawat said on Wednesday at a Delhi-based think-tank
