The Deputy Commissioner said that these camps would ensure that people get the benefit of the schemes of the state government at their doorsteps that too under a same roof. Sharma said that all the key departments of the state government including Health and Family Welfare, Social Security, Agriculture, Cooperative, Employment Generation and others would be roped in to make these camps a huge success. He said that these camps could ensure that more and more number of people avail the benefits of the pro-poor schemes of the state government.
The Deputy Commissioner said that a joint team of all the departments must undertake a pre-camp survey in the villages selected under a cluster for holding the camps. He said that during this survey the identification of all the eligible beneficiaries of the schemes should be identified. Likewise, Sharma said that Panchayat Secretaries must identify the new development works to be carried out in the village and the Health department must organize health check up camps for the villagers.
