-Who is Sukhbir Badal talking to about Punjabi language while he is himself a part of government?
Chandigarh, 15 September 2020 (wishavwarta):-Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday placed his views in Parliament against the closure of the MPLAD for two years in view of the corona.
Briefing the media, Bhagwant Mann said that AAP has opposed the decision to withhold funds released for the development of the constituencies.
Bhagwant Mann said, “instead of cutting our (MPs’) salary by 30 per cent, government may take 60-70 per cent or even the whole amount, but MPLAD funds meant for social welfare and and development should not be banned for two years.” On the contrary, it should be increased to Rs 25 crore per annum.
Commenting on the issue of discrimination against Punjabi language in Jammu and Kashmir raised by Sukhbir Singh Badal in Parliament, Mr. Bhagwant Mann said that discrimination against Punjabi language and farmers was highly reprehensible and worrisome but Sukhbir Singh Badal should clarify that to whom he is raising this issue while being himself a part of the Modi government which is discriminating on such issue?
Mr. Bhagwant Mann said that Badals have sold their conscience and made a deal with the Modi government in greed of one ministership in lieu of Punjab and Punjabiyat.
