Washington DC, 23 August(Wishav Warta): The White House was put on lockdown status after law officials found a suspicious package on the outside of the north fence line. Washington Post reported that a spokesman for the Secret Service said pedestrians and others were cleared from the area along Pennsylvania Avenue.
The decoration and construction work in the northern lawn has been ordered to stop. President Donald Trump was not in the building at that time when this incident happened. He had already rushed to Arizona for a rally before the warning. After investigating, a spokesperson for the U.S. Capitol Police said no hazards were found, but a man was arrested and charged with unlawful entry into the restricted zone.
