Chandigarh(Wishav Warta): The fourth session of 15th Vidhan Sabha of Punjab began on Tuesday at Chandigarh. The obituary references were made to politicians and prominent personalities who passed away recently on the first day.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP paid tribute to all the personalities. Among them are Former Minister of Punjab and sitting MLA Shahkot, Ajit Singh Kohar, Former Minister Sardul Singh Bandala, Former Minister Manjit Singh Calcutta, former MLA Satnam Singh Kainth, former MP and ex MLA and former Bahadar Singh.
Besides them, Jangir Singh, Hardial Singh, Karam Singh, Sham Lal, Kartar Singh and Dalip Singh (all freedom fighters), martyrs Nayak Amarseer Singh, actor Shashi Kapoor, Pyare Lal Wadali famous sufi singer, Dronacharya awardee Sukhchain Singh Cheema, singer Sabar Kotti and Prof. Rajpal Singh tribute was paid to above.
