Timings of Government schools will be changed from 1 Oct.

Chandigarh, 29 September(Wishav Warta): The Education Department, Punjab, has changed the timings of all the Government, Private aided and recognized schools from 1 October 2017 keeping in view the onset of winter season. This was disclosed here today in a statement by the DPI (Secondary Education) Mr. Paramjit Singh.

The DPI said that the timings of all the primary schools would be 9 AM to 3 PM and that of the Middle/High/Senior Secondary schools would be 9 AM to 3.20 PM. The changed timings would come into effect from 1 October 2017. The copy of the orders to this effect has been sent to all the Circle Education Officers, District Education Officers (Secondary & Elementary Education) and school heads.
