This is the time to stand with Capt. Amarinder Singh who is affirm with farmers: Rajinder Singh Badheri
Chandigarh 21 October ( Wishavwarta )-Punjab Mandi Board Director Rajinder Singh Badheri, who is also the National Delegate of All India Jatt Maha Sabha and the State President of Chandigarh under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh has said that Capt. Amarinder Singh always stood for the rights of farmers and Sikhs. Today, the Punjab Legislative Assembly has passed resolutions in favor of the farmers and by rejecting the bills framed by the Central Government, it has proved to be that Captain Amrinder Singh is the son of a true Punjab.
Mr. Badheri added that we are proud that Captain Sahib also resigned from his party Congress and Lok Sabha in 1984 and resigned as a Minister in 1986 in protest of Black Thunder in the Barnala Government of Punjab. Finally in 2004 a resolution was passed in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha to protect water. This time too he is adamant, always standing in favor of the farmer. The job of the opposition is to seduce the common man which is like changing the color of a chameleon like BJP.
He further said that Captain also cooperated at the time when the farmers announced a Chakka Jam in Punjab. However, the reality is that the passage of the agriculture bills has made the Punjabi farmers and Sikhs now hate the BJP because since 1996, the BJP has done no good to Punjab and the Sikh community, only increased its trade.
Mr. Rajinder Singh Badheri said that the farming community of Punjab and every Punjabi including the Sikh community needs to stand firm with their stalwart leader Capt. Amarinder Singh and oppose these ordinances of the Center. Capt. Amarinder Singh announced that his party and the Punjab government were on the backs of the farmers and would neither allow the closure of MSP nor the implementation of the Agriculture Ordinance. Capt Amarinder Singh has also declared to fight a legal battle. He also announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister if required which is a big decision and commendable.
