New Delhi: The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a complaint against Amitabh Sinha Chairman Governing body Dyal Singh College for using derogatory, abusive and highly objectionable language against minorities of the country and even threatening them to leave the country.
In a complaint filed with the North Avenue police station today Sirsa disclosed that during a debate on national channel Amitabh Sinha used slur against minority community particularly Sikhs and even asked them to leave the country. He said that under the article 25-28 of the Indian constitution every citizen has the fundament right to practice and promote their religion peacefully. He said that all the minorities living the country have equal rights as per constitutional provisions. He said that it was very strange that Amitabh Sinha affront/insulted all the Minority people those are living in the country and have equivalent rights as other people have in this country.
Sirsa said that he even Sinha threatened the Minority community of India by using the offensive/threatening language against them. He said that it is kind of threat in other word by saying the Majority will against you or you leave this country. He also said that this also amounts to disrespect Minority people. He said that persons like him are creating communal difference between the Citizen of India.
He said that he being a public representative as MLA and General Secretary DSGMC has been forced to initiate appropriate action against Amitabh Sinha because he affront/slur Minority Community of India and also wants to create communal differences among the people of India.
He also brought to the notice of police that a complaint has already been already filed the Police complaint against Sh. Amitabh Sinha Chairman, Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma (Dyal Singh Evening College Principal), Governing Body Members of Dyal Singh College and Other Members who signed the Resolution to change the said Dyal Singh (Evening) College Name under section 120B, 406, 409,426, 423, 419, 465, 468, 504, of Indian Penal Code.
