Talwandi Sabo, 18 September(Wishav Warta): A day after, Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) has restored power and water supply connection to the residence of former Jathedar Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Jathedar Giani Gurmukh Singh at Damdama Sahib.
As alleged by Giani Gurmukh Singh, the supplies were disconnected by the SGPC on the instructions of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and that he was being punished for speaking truth about the “forgiveness” granted to Dear Sirsa Chief by Jathedar Akal Takht.
His aged parents and family had also been allegedly asked to vacate the house allotted to the former Jathedar. Giani Gurmukh was transferred as the head priest of a gurdwara in Haryana in April this year.
