Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced that it would observe Ardas Divas at the five SikhTakhats to seek justice for the families of 1984 victims who were brutally killed in mob violence perpetrated by the Congress party and its goons in Delhi as well as parts of the country. The SAD leadership along with the party workers would participate in large numbers at the Ardas Divas samagam being observed on November 1st at all Sikh Takhats simultaneously.
Giving this information, Vice-president of SAD and party spokesman, Dr, Daljit Singh Cheema said that this decision was taken by the core committee in its late night meeting held under the chairmanship of the party patron S. Parkash Singh Badal and SAD president S Sukhbir Singh Badal. “Apart from it, a protest will be held from 11 am to 2 pm at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on November 3rd under the leadership of party patron S. Parkash Singh Badal and SAD president S Sukhbir Singh in which all party MPs, ex MPs, ex MLAs, district presidents, SGPC members and others leaders will also take part” he added.
