Punjabi Writer Ripudaman Singh Roop meets Canadian PM Justin Trudeau

Ottawa, 1 October(Wishav Warta): During their short visit to Canada, eminent Punjabi writer Sh. Ripudaman Singh Roop along with his son Advocate Ranjivan Singh and wife Smt. Satpaul Kaur, had the rare occasion to meet Canadian PM Justin Trudeau with the kind efforts of Canadian Federal Minister Amarjit Singh Sohi at Parliament Hills, Ottawa.

During their meet, Roop gifted a set of his novel “Jakhra Vich Jhoolda Rukh” and essay compilation “Banne Channe”. The trio also acquainted themselves with MP Smt. Rubi Sahota, Resham Sangha and Sh. Jatti Singh besides others. Roop and family were accompanied by their local relatives Gurcharan Sarao, Amandeep Toor and Satinderpal. This father mother and son trio kick started their journey on 23 September and are scheduled to visit Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary where they will be meeting eminent literary personalities during various literary events before landing back to India on October 26.
