New Delhi(Wishav Warta):  The Punjab government has decided to hand over the probe into killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosain to National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Punjab Chief minister Amarinder Singh issued orders on Thursday while announcing a Rs 5 lakh compensation for the deceased’s family and a government job for one of his progeny. Orders regarding an NIA probe were issued by the chief minister on a request by an RSS delegation that met him at his residence on Thursday, an official spokesperson said.

Two unidentified assailants had shot dead RSS leader Gosain in Kailash Nagar in Ludhiana on Tuesday. Sharing the delegation’s concern over the brazen killing, the chief minister strongly condemned the act, saying there was no place for such violence in the state.
