Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh on Saturday condoled the demise of Ranjit Singh, father of Dainik Jagran Bureau Chief Inderpreet Singh, who passed away at Bathinda this morning after prolonged illness.
Ranjit Singh, 70, is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
The Chief Minister, in his condolence message, extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives and friends and hoped they would find the courage to bear this severe loss.
Raveen Thukral, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, also mourned the death of Inderpreet Singh’s father. A parent’s loss always leaves a vacuum that cannot be fulfilled, he said, praying to the Almighty to give courage to the family in their hour of grief.
