Govt imposes new tax, every taxpayer has to pay Rs 200 professional tax per month

Chandigarh:  The Captain Government has imposed a new tax on the taxpayers of Punjab. Every taxpayer has to pay Rs 200 professional taxes every month. Every taxpayer in Punjab will have to pay the tax. Finance Minister Manpreet Badal has announced this today in Punjab Budget. Punjab has around 3 Crore population at this time. In this, if 50 lakh people pay taxes then the Punjab government will earn Rs 100 crore per month. Manpreet Badal said that people who do not fill income tax returns are not required to pay this tax.
