Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday during a rally attacks Congress, calling the Gujarat elections a fight between ‘development and dynasty, Modi said development politics will victory over family rule.

Addressing to BJP workers at his ‘Gujarat Gaurav Mahasammelan’ in Gandhinagar PM Modi said “This election is between development and dynasty. Development will win and dynasty will lose,” In an all-out attack, the PM accused the Congress of having a negative approach toward the development of Gujarat.

“The Congress party has always had a negative approach toward the development of Gujarat. In fact, they are now abusing ‘vikaas’,” the PM said.

He then challenged the Congress to fight the elections on the plank of development, instead of “trying to manipulate the people.” He demanded to know why, if the Congress was doing well, 25 percent of its MLAs left the party before the elections.

He also blamed the party of corruption, calling it a ‘zamanati’ party.’ The PM said that the Congress, a party that had given the nation so many Prime Ministers and chief ministers, now “only focusses on spreading lies” and has “created an atmosphere of pessimism in the country.” Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani, BJP national president Amit Shah and several other leaders of the party were also present at the event.
