Kuldeep Yadav hat-trick along with a masterclass from Rohit Sharma helped India decimate West Indies by 107 runs in the second ODI in Vizag. With the resounding win, India also levelled the three match series 1-1. After posting a massive 387/5, Kuldeep (3/52) and Mohammed Shami (3/39) produced a dream spells to bundle out Windies for 280 in 43.3 overs. Put into bat after losing the toss, Rohit (159) and KL Rahul (102) cracked tons respectively to lay a solid paltform for a big total. Towards the end, Shreyas Iyer (53 off 32 balls) and Rishabh Pant (39 off 16 balls) blitz helped India post a giant total on the board. In the chase, Shai Hope-Nicholas Pooran fourth wicket 106-run partnership threatened India for a brief period but Shami picked up two in two in the 30th over to dent Windies charge. In the 33rd over, Kuldeep got rid of Shai Hope, Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph on consecutive balls to claim his second ODI hat-trick — also becoming the first Indian to do so in international cricket.
