Chandigarh: It has been notified that under rule 63 of Rules framed under the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873 (Act VIII of 1873) that having due regards to weather and the state of crops, Kotla Branch off-taking from Patiala Feeder-1 remain closed from October 20 to November 09 including both days for 21 days for the completion of remaining work of bridge RD 107372 by B&R (PWD). This was disclosed by A Venu Prasad, Principal Secretary, Department of Irrigation, Government of Punjab.
