Chandigarh, 13 October(Wishav Warta): Leader of Opposition Sukhpal Singh Khaira has written a letter to chief minister Amarinder Singh to order a CBI probe against cabinet minister Rana Gurjeet Singh in view of his company RGS Traders Pvt. Ltd.’s direct benami investment in the mining auction. He has also demanded Captian to dismiss Rana Gurjeet from the cabinet .
Khaira stated in his letter, As we are aware, threadbare evidence has now emerged that Rana Gurjeet Singh the tainted Minster had directly pumped money from his RGS Traders Pvt. Ltd. Co. into the sole proprietorship firm Rajbir Enterprises, that paid 50 percent money to bag the mining contracts of controversial sand mines of Saidpur Khurd and Mehdipur in Nawanshahar district, in May 2017. As per the record of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, RGS Traders Pvt. Ltd. was registered on 19.05.1992 bearing registration number 12297. Rana Gurjeet Singh and Rana Hardeep Singh were the first Directors of the company. That Rana Ranjit Singh brother of Rana Gurjeet Singh was appointed director of this company on 15.10.2003 and Rana Inder Partap Singh son of the tainted Minister Rana Gurjeet Singh was appointed its Director on 29.04.2004.
As per documents submitted to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the address of RGS Traders Co. is SCO 49-50 Sector 8 Chandigarh, which is also the address of Rana Sugars owned by the tainted Minister. The email id of RGS Traders Co.info@ranagroup.com is also the official email id of Rana Sugars Ltd., Rana Polycot Ltd. and Rana Informatics Ltd., the other companies of the tainted Minister.
Apart from the clinching evidence, the Minister and his wife Mrs. Rajbans Kaur have also taken a loan of Rs. 407 lacs from RGS Traders Co., as per his election affidavit filed in the 2017 assembly elections. Infact two other companies i.e. RJ Texfab Ltd. and Jay Aar Builders Pvt. Ltd. that have been named by the Narang Commission as partners in the above stated mines, have also given a loan of Rs. 548 lacs and Rs. 464 lacs respectively to Rana Gurjeet Singh again as per his election affidavit.
Although Amit Bahadur and Kulwinderpal Singh were very much employees of Rana Gurjeet Singh, when they made their bids for the two mining sites on 19-20 May 2017, but the Minister very clearly denied these charges and arranged back date entries to show they had left his companies. But Amit Bahadur was Director in three companies of Rana Gurjeet Singh till 29th May 2017, as per Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
He says It is also a matter of record as per the Narang commission report, that Rana Gurjeet Singh had called up Amit Dhaka Director Mining in the run up to the mining auctions. Now only a CBI inquiry can unearth the details of conversation about pressure exerted upon the Director to illegally allot the mines to his frontmen, despite blatant violation of conditions 5, 22 and 25 of the auction notice. The money was never deposited from the accounts of Amit Bahadur or Kulwinderpal Singh but it came from the account of Rajbir Enterprises, in which the RGS Traders Co. belonging to Rana Gurjeet Singh deposited Rs. 36 lac for the auction. Similarly RJ Texfab deposited Rs. 4.52 crores and Jay Aar Builders Rs. 36 lac, same companies who advanced loans to Rana Gurjeet Singh as per his election affidavit.
Khara urges to CM, I demand that in order to check corruption in high places, it is highly imperative to dismiss Rana Gurjeet Singh without any further delay and order a CBI inquiry to expose the nefarious and murky financial dealings of the tainted Minister.
