Take precautions, Don’t pay heed to rumours, no cause for panic, DC urges people
S. A. S. Nagar, March 14: “I am just under precautionary home quarantine till March 18 as per the Government advisory. It’s been 18 days since I left Italy and i am asymptomatic in respect of the corona virus.”
Making it clear here today in a press communique, the Deputy Commissioner, S. A. S. Nagar Mr. Girish Dayalan said that Government has advised that all Indians returning from #COVID19 affected countries must undergo 14 day home quarantine, even if asymptomatic.
He also urged fellow citizens who, like him, have travelled from these countries to follow this protocol after getting screened at the airport.
This is not a cause for panic, but prudence and prevention. It is a precaution to safeguard our loved ones and community, said the DC.
