Jalandhar: Jalandhar traffic police have been accused of bribe. Police Commissioner Praveen Kumar Sinha has suspended five traffic police cops over allegations of bribery. Among them are ASI Satnam Singh, ASI Gulshan Kumar, constable Sukhwant Singh, constable Jaswant Singh and constable Mehar Singh. ACP Traffic Harvinder Singh Bhalla confirmed the suspension. According to the information, ASI Satnam Singh is stationed at PAP Chowk. It is alleged that Satnam Singh took a bribe from a driver and the driver was asked for the bribe by another police officer at next junction. When the case reached the CP, he suspended five policemen along with Satnam.
