Jalandhar, December 08(Wishav Warta): Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar president and senior Sikh leader Simranjit Singh Mann commented on the statement given by London Mayor, Sadiq Khan that “British should apologies for Jallianwala Bagh massacre”. He said it is good if British apologies for the massacre but will it give any relief to the victims?, if apologies can be asked for Jallianwala massacre why not for Operation Blue Star (1984) when 26,000 devotees were killed in army operation. He said everyone talked about the Jallianwala massacre, but not one talk about the Blue Star even the British Mayor visited the Harmandir Sahib were it took place. He said if it gives inch of a relief to the victims of Jallianwala massacre apologies should be asked in the parliament by Congress. All the political parties do not talk about this because it was done by the Government.
He later slams BJP for not giving representation to any prominent Sikh in the top bodies of India including Union ministries. He said there is only one exception Harsimrat Kaur Badal has a ministry, but Sikhs have acquired positions like defence or finance ministries earlier. There is no proper Sikh representation on the top level which worries him, he said.

Trump’s perception towards Muslims is not right as he considers them as threat to the US.
