Garbge collection not essential services, new threat to epidemic

Chandigarh 22 March (Wishav Warta) The governments have declared lock down till 31 March but there is one issue that has come to common people mind and that of garbage collection.
A letter has been dispatched to government in which it is stated that During “Janta curfew” today, there was no attempt on the apart of Municipal /contractors’ workers to life the garbage from various house holds. From tomorrow onwards till March 31st, 2020, there would be lock down of Chandigarh. The claim is being made that supply of essential goods and services shall continue during this period.
Advocate Hari Chand has said that he would therefore, request the authorities to ensure the lifting of garbage from house-holds during period of lock down, to avoid break out of another type of epidemic
