Adampur: Jalandhar welcome’s its first flight that arrived at the Adampur domestic airport from Delhi on Tuesday. The Adampur airport in Jalandhar goes on the country’s civil aviation map today when Budget Carrier Spicejet launched its maiden flight to New Delhi under Udan, the government’s regional connectivity scheme.
Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla, Adampur MLA Pawan Tinu, Congress leader Tejinder Bittu, renowned industrialists from Jalandhar, including members of the Doaba Airport Welfare Association (DAWA) were on board.
Today, the flight to Adampur took off from Terminal 2 of the Delhi airport and reached Adampur.
