Jalandhar: The Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, Vijay Inder Singla has said that the government stands totally committed to make good each promise made with the masses during the poll campaign in run up to the Shahkot bye-election. He also said that very soon the problems being encountered by the people of the constituency would be addressed.
Singla said that during the poll campaign he visited various villages falling under the Shahkot assembly constituency and noted down the problems being faced by the people. Divulging more, he said that he has written to the departments concerned for the redressal of these. He said that during the campaign he went to the villages namely Langewal, Sanda, Sandewal, Bajwa Khurd, Bhoey, Sahilapur, Chakk Bahmania, Sahlapur apart from Shahkot and listened to the grievances of the people.
He said that he had written to the ministers of concerned departments and appealed to them to redress the problem of every village based on the demands raised by the people of these villages. Their problems will be resolved soon, he added. Singla further said that the Captain Amarinder Singh led government has lived upto it’s each promise.
