Chandigarh: New rates of electricity may apply after the meeting of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission. A new order can be issued by the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission there on. Domestic and Commercial tariffs would be imposed retrospective. According to sources, the increase is likely to be of 10 percent per unit. Consumers can have an annual burden of Rs 22,000 crores.
