Chandigarh: Amid the rucks created on the third day of the Vidhan Sabha session, Shiromani Akali Dal Member of Parliament Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra on Thursday demanded the declaration of a National Holiday on 23 March the Martyr’s Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
He also put forth the demand to reserved and mark the seat from where the bomb had been thrown by Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and the seat where the bomb dropped, he added. Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Thursday morning sought permission of the Assembly Speaker to implement the rules regarding the prohibition of audio-visual recording of the proceedings of the House.
