Jalandhar, August 27 (wishavwarta):- Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today felicitated Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) Dera’s zonal and district heads Sunil Talwar and Sushil Chaudhary respectively for rendering marvellous services in the war against Covid-19 pandemic.
The Deputy Commissioner also handed over a certificate of appreciation to them.
He said that the stupendous services were rendered by Dera in providing food to the migrants when Shramik Express trains were started in May 2020.
He said that Dera also offered its premises as quarantine centres for the NRIs who could not afford for paid quarantine facility and further served food to them during their stay.
He said that they have extended fulsome support and cooperation to the district administration and told administration and residents of the district would ever remain indebted to them.
Prominent among present occasion included ADC (G) Jasbir Singh and SDM Dr Jai Inder Singh and others were also present.
