ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ , 1 ਨਵੰਬਰ (ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਾਰਤਾ) ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 2 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 5 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ‘ਐਕਸ’ ਹੈਂਡਲ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ।
In a major breakthrough, Counter Intelligence, #Amritsar busts a narcotics smuggling network, apprehends two accused, and recovers 5 Kg of heroin.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were allegedly procuring heroin consignments from unidentified associates and supplying them to other parties in #Punjab.
An FIR has been registered at PS State Special Operations Cell (#SSOC), Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to establish the complete forward and backward linkages, identify other persons involved and dismantle the wider narcotics smuggling network.
