Ludhiana, 5 September(Wishav Warta): Lok Sabha MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu on Tuesday said there would be massive turnout at the political conference of Congress at historic Chhapar Mela underway near Mandi Ahmedgarh.
Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and his Cabinet colleagues would attend the conference, added Bittu after reviewing the arrangements at the venue along with party MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid and former MLAs Gurdeep Singh Bhaini and Malkit Singh Dakha.
On the eve of the Mela, Bittu accused SAD and AAP of creating hindrances in the smooth functioning of the state government through their undemocratic actions. He termed the attempt to gherao Chief Minister’s residence at Chandigarh by AAP leaders and workers on Monday as a political gimmick.
