CHANDIGARH/MANDI GOBINDGARH, NOVEMBER 28: Condoling the death of a young student at RIMT campus due to the callous and negligent attitude of institute’s management, the Punjab NSUI president Akshay Sharma demanded stringent action against those responsible for this heinous crime.
Akshay, who immediately rushed to the RIMT campus yesterday night, asked the police authorities to file an FIR with stringest provisions against the Warden and Hospitality head of the institute who had denied permission to the student to see a doctor after he had complained of health issues.
Hemant, the first year student of Hotel Management Course at RIMT had requested the warden for health facility which was denied. Hemant had later collapsed.
We want all culprits to be behind bars and all due compensation as demanded by hapless parents must be given to them at the earliest. Hemant belonged to Nepal.
