Chandigarh: In a press release issued here today PEP President Sukhpal Singh Khaira shared some pictures of the PDA alliance meeting on his twitter. Khaira stated that the meeting was held at an undisclosed place so that long meaningful discussions could take place without any interference or disturbance. Khaira said the meeting was held in a very cordial and positive atmosphere, where the alliance partners discussed major political issues facing Punjab and the political scenario of the country in view of impending Lok Sabha polls.
Khaira said that the alliance partners arrived at consensus on most of the policy matters besides agreement on many Lok Sabha seat sharing arrangements. The PDA has also decided to meet in the first week of the February to sort out the remaining seats as well as certain issues that could not be discussed today.
Khaira said all members of PDA alliance congratulated Simarjeet Singh Bains MLA on his birthday. Khaira said that apart from Bains, Dr. Gandhi MP, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura MP, Rattan Singh Ajnala Ex-MP, Amarpal Singh Ajnala Ex-MLA, Rashpal Singh Raju President and Randhir Beniwal of the BSP participated in the today’s marathon PDA meeting. Khaira said all the alliance partners were very enthusiastic and positive about today’s meeting and hoped to settle all issues amicably to strengthen the alliance so that Punjab can be liberated from the clutches of corrupt traditional parties Congress, SAD and the BJP.
