Kolkata: Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the toss and opted to field against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 Eliminator at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday. KKR finished the group stages on the third position with 16 points while RR (14 points) reached the play-off stages by the skin of their teeth. KKR’s main weapons this season have been skipper Dinesh Karthik and Sunil Narine alongside contributions from Kuldeep Yadav, Chris Lynn and Andre Russell. RR were dealt a huge blow by the departure of Jos Buttler but Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Tripathi performed brilliantly in their last encounter.
