New Delhi: Former Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely on Saturday rejoined the Congress almost a year after he had left the party to go to the BJP.
Former Transport Minister in the Sheila Dikshit led-Congress government in Delhi, Lovely had quit the Congress after the party’s severe drubbing in the Assembly and the local body polls.
Lovely also had major and irreconcilable differences with senior Delhi leader Ajay Makan, a Sheila Dikshit baiter.
Lovely today rejoined the Congress after meeting the party chief Rahul Gandhi in the presence of Makan, currently the Delhi Congress president.
