Congress appoints Tripat Bajwa Observer for Ludhiana MC polls


Chandigarh, January 8: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has approved the appointment of cabinet minister Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa as Congress Observer for the Ludhiana MC elections.

Bajwa’s name was recommended by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) Sunil Jakhar and accepted by Captain Amarinder, according to an official spokesperson.

An official communication on his appointment was being sent to Bajwa, who is Minister for Rural Development & Panchayats, Water Supply and Sanitation in the Captain Amarinder government, said the spokesperson.

Meanwhile the PPCC president has also formed a three- member committee, headed by Bajwa, with Ravneet Bittu and Gurpreet Gogi  as its members
