Srinagar, 21 September(wishav Warta): Two civilians were killed and five people, including two policemen, injured on Thursday in a grenade attack in Pulwama in south Kashmir.
Senior Jammu and Kashmir minister Naeem Akhtar, who was reported to be in the vicinity, escaped unhurt. Police said militants hurled a grenade near a bus stand in Tral town of Pulwama district around 11.45am.
“The area has been cordoned off for searches,” police said.
