Jalandhar, 23 September(Wishav Warta): The Bhartiya Janta Party candidate for Gurdaspur Lok Sabha by-election businessman Swarn Singh Salaria has left opponents far behind in assets as he has declared assets more than 500 crores in his nomination papers. The 57 years old Salaria has declared Rs 130 crore moveable assets and 453 crore immoveable assets on his name and 62.6 crore moveable, 84 crore immoveable assets on his wife’s name in his nomination papers. He has declared his education as class 12. The Congress Candidate Sunil Jakhar is long way behind than saffron party candidate Salaria. Jakhar has declared Rs. 1.7 crore moveable and 2.3 crore immoveable assets under his name, his wife owns more than him as she has Rs 8.5 crore moveable and Rs 11.7 crore immoveable assets under her name as declared in nomination papers. Aam Aadmi party candidate retd. Major General Suresh Khajuria has declared Rs 79 lakh moveable and 1.25 crore immoveable assets on his name and Rs 36.6 lakh moveable, 1.7 crore immoveable assets on her wife’s name in his nomination papers.
