Amritsar, December 07(Wishav Warta): Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh gave a statement on expansion of Punjab Cabinet. Capt. reached Amritsar ahead of MC polls. During a press conference, CM released vision documents for municipal corporation elections. Talking on expansion of Punjab Cabinet, he said the expansion of the Cabinet will be done after the municipal elections. The expansion of Punjab Cabinet is due from a period as their were earlier many predictions and statements were given but cabinet is yet to be expanded.
He said that best sewerage and water supply will be provided in all the cities. Along with this, L. E. D. lights will also be installed. He said L. E. D. lights consume less electricity so 60 percent of the electricity will be saved by lights. Speaking about the plastic factory accident in Ludhiana, he said that Rs. 60 crores would be spent for upgradation of fire brigade.
Captain questioned the Akali Dal’s protest on the incident in Malnawala on Wednesday on the last day of filing nomination papers. He said that when a party is defeated, such manipulation is adopted. Apart from this, Captain remained silent on Jaggi Johal’s case.
