RS 23 LAKH SPENT ON AMBULANCE CONTAINING ALL LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM
JALANDHAR, April 5( Wishavwarta)- Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Chaudhary Santokh Singh accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar
dedicated a hi-tech ambulance to the people on Sunday.
MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh has allocated Rs 23 lakh for this fully equipped ambulance which has facilities of ventilator, Air -Conditioning, Defibrillator, one syringe infusion system, one suction pump, stretchers, a and first aid kits.
He said that this is one of the best patient transport system and hoped this would help in a big way.
Chaudhary Santokh Singh added that he has asked the health department to submit the proposal for additional items they needed for improvements so that he can allot the funds from MPLAD funds.
He said that the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was committed for ensuring safety and security of the people besides containing the spread of Corona virus in the district.
MP told that the Chief Minister has already assured there would not be paucity of funds for improving the health facilities in the state for the people.
He assured the people that strenuous efforts were afoot to ensure that people do not face any sort of problem.
He also exhorted the people to stay confined in their homes so that spread of Corona virus was checked at the earliest
On the occasion, Smart City CEO Ms Shena Aggarwal, ADC Mr Jasbir Singh, SDM Dr Jai Inder Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr Gurinder Kaur Chawla, Medical Superintendent Dr Mandeep Kaur Mangat, BTO Dr Gagandeep Singh and others were present.
