Gurugram, 15 September(Wishav Warta): The investigation into the murder of an eight-year-old student in Gurgaon’s Ryan International School has been handed to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Friday.
Khattar’s announcement came after he met the family of the victim. The state government will also take over the management of the school for the next three months, he said. Deputy commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh will be in charge of the school during this period.
The child’s parents had been demanding that the investigation be handed over to the CBI since they believed that the murder was planned. “Glad that the sensitivity this case deserved has been shown”, the father of the victim said shortly after the CBI probe was announced
