Govt. puts ban on playing Suicide game “Blue Whale Challenge”

New Delhi, 16 August(Wishav Warta): Government has posed ban on the suicide game “Blue Whale Challenge”. The Government has asked Google and Social Media to remove related links to download ‘Blue Well Challenge’ game. The Central Government has banned it after complaints of bad influences on children who played the game ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ on online. Earlier, Union Minister Maneka Gandhi had also asked the government to ban the game on Monday. Apart from Google, Microsoft India and Yahoo India, the Government has ordered the Social Media Platforms Facebook, Instagram remove the facility to download the Blue Well Challenge game or any link connected to it immediately from its platform. In addition to ‘Blue Well Challenge’, it has been asked to remove links to similar online game games with similar names. This game has been banned after the complaints received from the states Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
