Chandigarh/SULTANPUR LODHI, NOVEMBER 10:
The melodious recitation of kirtan by the renowned Kirtani Jathe at the main pandal enthralled the audience with the supreme religious fervor. Gurbani Kirtan was performed by the famous kirtani Jathe at the main pandal from the morning till the evening.
Bhai Satinderpal Singh of Sultanpur Lodhi performed the kirtan to eulogize the one and only supreme power “ Waheguru”. He recited a Shabad to flag the theme of the Gurbani that with the service of the mankind you can find the ultimate truth within yourself.
Likewise the Kirtani Jatha of Bhai Sukhwant Singh from Jandiala recited the shabad to highlight the importance of true Guru in someone’s life. He theme was that the absence of true guru will lead you to nothingness, so one should strive to find the true guru in his lifetime.
After this their jatha also recited shabad with the support of traditional TANTI instruments and mesmerized the audience with religious fervor.
The other famous Kirtniye who performed shabad at the main pandal included Bibi Rajwinder Kaur form Amritsar, Dr. Gurinder Singh Batal, Bahi Satwinder Singh Bodal, Bibi Ashupreet Kaur Jalandhar, Dr. Nivedita Singh Patiala, Bahi Balwant Singh Namdhari.
Cabinet Minister, Punjab Mr. Gurpreet Singh Kangar and Local MLA Mr. Navtej Singh Cheema were also marked their attendance at the main pandal. Baba Pargat Singh Chola Sahib, Baba Sahib Singh, Baba Pritpal Singh Baba Bira Singh Sirhali Sahib also bowed their heads before the Guru Granth Sahib at the main pandal.
