City BJP celebrates its Foundation Day by hoisting party flag at its 614 booths

140 years old Congress is marginalized and BJP is taking command of the country with 44 years of “tapasya”: BJP President Jitender Pal Malhotra on Foundation Day celebration

Chandigarh, April 6 (WISHAVWARTA):- City BJP today celebrated its Foundation Day by hoisting the party flag at its 614 booths in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh BJP President Jitender Pal Malhotra also hoisted the flag at the party office on the foundation day of the BJP today.

While addressing party leaders and workers, President Malhotra said 11 presidents of the BJP from Atal Bihari Vajypee to current JP Nadda all reached this position not due to the nepotism of Nehru-Gandhi clan, but by working day and night in the interest of the nation and the party.
This is the reason why the nearly 140 years old Congress is today marginalized and in a span of just 44 years, the BJP is firmly in command of the country.

Congratulating the BJP workers on the Foundation Day, the President said after its establishment on April 6, 1980, the BJP had got only two seats in the Lok Sabha elections held in 1984. In the subsequent elections, the process of increasing the BJP’s seats has continued and till 2019 these seats reached 303.

“Today, BJP has become the country’s largest political party in terms of seats in the Lok Sabha and the world’s largest political party in terms of organisational strength and is moving towards crossing 400 in the 2024 elections. This is not a miracle, but it is a reward for service and tapasya from the booth level to the top leadership, ” he said.

“The popularity of this party is continuously increasing as a result of the hard work of BJP workers working among the people of the country. There is a race not only among the common people, but also among the leaders of opposition parties to join the BJP. In recent times, senior leaders of Congress, AAP and many other major parties have joined the BJP. This is the result of the development and public welfare works of BJP’s policies and 10 years of government under the able leadership of Modi,” he added.

On this occasion, BJP State General Secretary Hukam Chand, Amit Jindal, Vice President Rambir Bhatti, Devender Singh Babla, Kailash Chand Jain, Raj Kishore, Shakti Devshali, Sunita Dhawan, Jagtar Singh Dhillon, Poonam Sharma, State Secretary Krishna Kumar, Shashi Shankar Tiwari, Ruchi Shekhari, Ramesh Sahod, Gaurav Goyal, Subhash Kumar Maurya, Treasurer Pradeep Bansal, Abhi Bhasin, State Office Secretary Deepak Malhotra, Manish Sharma, Sanjay Puri, Spokesperson Dhirendra Tayal, Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, Naresh Arora, Vijay Rana, Mahila Morcha President Heera Negi, Rekha Sood, Yuva Morcha President Mahkaveer Sandhu, General Secretary Priya Paswan, Shanu Dubey and all the District Presidents and General Secretaries and other officials were present.
