Ludhiana: To uplift the standard of Government Primary Schools Suneet Singh Tuli leading philanthropist, businessman and the CEO of Datawind, the largest supplier of tablets in India, who had developed the Akaash Tablet, has graciously agreed to fund 100digital/smart classrooms in the government primary schools in Dakha assembly.
H S Phoolka,MLA Dakha has earlier started the project of Mobile Dispensary which is functioning now for almost two months.The Mobile Dispensary has a MBBS Doctor, one Lab technician, one staff nurse and a helper. An experienced MBBS doctor Col.(Retd.) B S Chehal provides the treatment to the people of the villages. Now an experienced Gynaecologist Dr Mandeep Kaur Randhawa has also being employed.
Coaching Classes for the students of class 11 andClass 12 to prepare them for the entrance exam of NEET, JEE and Advance for admission into Medical and engineering Colleges has also started. The students from 15 villages from DakhaHalka are brought to leading Coaching Centre in Ludhiana Edusquare where they are given free coaching classes. These students are provided free to and fro transport from their villagesto Coaching Centre by Gyan Sewa Trust.
That now keeping in view the decline in number of students as well as the decline in standard of education in the government Primary Schools, Suneet Singh Tuli and Phoolka has jointly decided to provide the latest facility and the teaching by attractive digital method which is at par with Private Schools.
